Industry of Things World 2019: Beyond the hype

The fifth edition of the award-winning Industry of Things World was unanimously characterized as a successful conference. More than 650 registered attendees gathered in Berlin to shape the future of the Industrial Internet during 2 event days filled with case studies, networking sessions, workshops, a start-up innovation lab, an IIoT Bootcamp as well as the first Industry of Things World award.

With keynotes on the Third digital revolution, taking digital transformation to the next level, facing the Industry of Things challenge or how the strategic realignment of IT can succeed in the context of digitization, one thing became clear: it is now time to put the IoT hype into action. There is still a need for discussion and planning, but most importantly the need for collaboration across job functions and with different stakeholders to maximize the effectiveness of these technologies and tools.
