Zeljko is currently Director for Business Excellence, Innovation and Data Analysis at Bischof + Klein SE & Co. KG. He is responsible for supporting the business units in new product and service initiatives and promoting new idea generation. He is also responsible for the development of organizational effectiveness, the implementation of process improvements, the identification and use of analysis and intelligent automation and the exchange of excellence practices within the organization.
After graduating in technology and metallurgy (University of Belgrade), Zeljko received his PhD from the Max Planck Institute (MPI) for Solid State Research and the University of Stuttgart. He then worked as a post-doc at the MPI as a researcher in the field of multiscale modeling and simulation of complex materials. From there he took a position at Georgsmarienhütte GmbH (Germany). Zeljko stayed with Georgsmarienhütte GmbH until 2019, during which time he became head of the Simulation and Innovation Department. In 2019, he moved to Bischof + Klein SE & Co. KG where he took over the position of Director of Business Excellence, Innovation and Data Analysis.
In 2012, Zeljko successfully completed the international MBA program at the TiasNimbas Business School (Tilburg University) in the Netherlands and the Krannert School of Management (Purdue University) in the USA.
